Picturesque site given upgrade by NEWCo team
Visitors to the picturesque Chalets at Clachaig Inn, Glencoe will see big changes at the premises after the NEWCo team completed the replacement of two access ramps.
The father and son team who manage the properties approached NEWCo to discuss the replacement of the tired wooden access ramps with something new, fresh and most importantly low maintenance.
A few options were discussed and the final decision was the fabrication of a steel frame complete with GRP gritted top infill panels allowing safe access even in the worst of conditions. The ramps will require no maintenance and their longevity is a major plus factor.
The handrails are made from timber and were completed in-house by the client, however the NEWCo team worked closely 
with the client to ensure the concrete pads were located in the correct place taking into account existing services. They also supplied a template handrail post bracket to allow the client the speedy install of the handrail.
Whilst on site, NEWCo was asked to supply and install handrails to the Oak Chalet following customer feedback the client had received.
All works had to be carried out against a tight deadline as the Chalets could not be closed to paying guests any longer than necessary.
