School gets insight in NEWCo facility

Last month, the NEWCo team welcomed a group of students from Lochaber High School for an insight session at the premises.

During their visit, the students received a briefing from Conor, the Workshop Supervisor. He introduced them to several of the machines, demonstrated how they operate, and explained the type of work carried out at NEWCo, giving the students a valuable overview of the day-to-day operations and the skills involved in our industry.

Following the workshop tour, there was a Question & Answer session with attendance from NEWCo’s General Manager Neil Worsdall, second year apprentices Ben O’Sullivan and John MacLean. This opportunity provided the students with the chance to ask about what they had seen, learn more about the roles within the company, and gain insight that may help them decide on their future career paths. It was a pleasure to host the group, and we hope the session helped inspire their next steps.
